Azerbaijan and Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of crisis and emergency management.
SİA informs via Jordanian media that the document was inked by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Kamaladdin Heydarov, and the Deputy Director of Jordan's National Center for Security and Crisis Management, Hatem Al-Zaabi.
The memorandum aims to strengthen cooperation and exchange of experience in crisis and emergency management, particularly in addressing the consequences of natural disasters. The agreement also provides for the organization of joint drills and cooperation in combating the climate crisis.
As part of the visit to Jordan, the Azerbaijani delegation also familiarized itself with the operations of the Jordanian center, its modern rapid-response equipment, and its strategic crisis management plans.
