Another group of Ukrainian children arrived in Azerbaijan for rehabilitation, Ukrainian Ambassador Yuriy Husyev wrote on his Facebook page, SİA informs.
He noted that in particular, these are children of missing or killed Ukrainian servicemen.
Husyev emphasized that at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the children were met by employees of the Ukrainian Embassy in Azerbaijan and the chairman of the working group on interparliamentary relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, member of the Parliament Alibala Maharramzada.
"The children will be able to undergo rehabilitation in the Guba sanatorium, get acquainted with Azerbaijani culture, visit the sights of Baku, including the Ukrainian Center," he wrote.
The diplomat also added that this is the ninth group of children who arrived from Ukraine for rehabilitation.
"We thank Azerbaijan and its people for their support. This is not only a true manifestation of friendship, but also an important contribution to strengthening the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership," he wrote.
