Azerbaijan to appoint new judges to Baku, Sumgayit, Sheki, Shirvan Courts of Appeal

New judges will be appointed to the Baku, Sumgayit, Sheki, and Shirvan Courts of Appeals, this is reflected in a draft included in the agenda of the meeting of the The Committee for Law Policy and State-Building of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) held today, SİA reports.

According to the draft law, Zafar Ahmadov will be appointed as a judge of the Baku Court of Appeal. Orkhan Ismailov, a judge of the Shirvan Court of Appeal, will be dismissed from his position and appointed as a judge of the Baku Court of Appeal. Aqil Alisa Musayev, a judge (chairman) of the Fuzuli District Court, will be appointed as a judge of the Baku Court of Appeal due to a change in position.

According to the draft law, the following judges will be dismissed from their posts as judges of the Baku Court of Appeal due to the change of their positions:

-Allahverdiyev Elbey Hidayet;

-Eyyubov Farid Ilham;

-Sariyev Khayal Ajdar.

At the same time, according to the draft law, the posts will be changed and the judge of the Baku Court on Grave Crimes Kamran Mukhtarov and the judge of the Sumgayit Court on Grave Crimes Elchin Mammadov will be appointed as judges of the Sumgayit Court of Appeal:

Also, according to the draft law, the posts will be changed and the judge of the Sheki Administrative Court Vugar Musayev and the judge of the Shamkir District Court Taleh Musayev will be appointed as judges of the Sheki Court of Appeal.

According to the draft law, the following judges will be appointed to the Shirvan Court of Appeals: Ali Aliyev, Judge of the Lankaran Court on Grave Crimes, Javid Sultanov, Judge of the Agdash District Court, Jeyhun Guliyev, Judge of the Masalli District Court, and Mirlatif Sadigov, Judge of the Saatli District Court, with their positions changed.

Elshad Ibish Aliyev will be dismissed from his position as Judge of the Shirvan Court of Appeals due to the change of position.
