"With the draft amendment to the law "On Labor Pensions", the law will be amended in accordance with the relevant order of President Ilham Aliyev," Musa Guliyev, the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Labour and Social Policy, said in an interview with APA.
The committee chairman noted that the minimum amount of labour pensions is determined by law: "The President had recommended to the government that the minimum amount of labour pensions be increased. Based on the President's order, the minimum amount of labour pensions should be raised from AZN 280 to AZN 320. Therefore, we are bringing that provision into the law. The committee will make a decision regarding the increase in the minimum amount of labour pensions, and the parliament will adopt a decision at its first session of the spring session on February 1st."
