The consequences of climate change, including the increasing frequency of natural disasters, should prompt countries to take urgent action, according to Bahar Muradova, the chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children's Affairs.
According to Report, speaking to journalists, Muradova emphasized that Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 is a clear example of how seriously the country approaches global issues affecting the world and its peoples. "I believe that COP29, like other events held in Azerbaijan, will be a success," she stated.
Muradova stressed that the issue of climate change is of concern to all countries worldwide.
"The consequences of the climate crisis, such as the increasing frequency of natural disasters, should compel countries to take urgent measures," she said.
