Today, 4 years have passed since the beginning of the Patriotic War.
Starting in the morning, the II Alley of Honor visited to commemorate the martyrs of the Patriotic War.
On Memorial Day, relatives of those who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, officials, public representatives, as well as ordinary citizens visit the alley as a sign of respect to the memory of martyrs of Azerbaijan and lay wreaths and flowers in front of their graves.
Note that the 44-day-long Patriotic War began on September 27, 2020. As a result, the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan was liberated from occupation.
September 27 is commemorated as Memorial Day in Azerbaijan as a sign of respect to the memory of the martyrs.
