Azerbaijan increases retirement age for women

Starting today, the retirement age for women in Azerbaijan will be 64, SİA reports.

According to the information, from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, the retirement age for men will be 65 years, for women it will be 64 years.

Note that the age limit for men provided for in Article 7 of the Law "On Labor Pensions" is from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2021, and for women is from July 1, 2017 to 2027. The retirement age is increased by 6 months every year until July 1.
