A phytosanitary risk management system in the field of plant health is being created in Azerbaijan, Chairperson of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency Goshgar Tahmazli said at the Plant Health Forum Towards a Green World in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that the new bill “On Plant Health” was prepared with the participation of international experts and sent for approval to other institutions: “The new bill implies a number of innovations regarding the organization of plant protection, the introduction of a phytosanitary quarantine regime, the use of plant protection products and agrochemicals.”
