An iftar table was set in Zaqatala district on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Members of martyr families, war veterans, people with disabilities, as well as religious servants and other citizens participated in the ceremony organized by the district executive authority.
The ceremony highlighted the importance of performing good deeds and virtuous acts during Ramadan, reciting verses from the holy "Quran", and offering prayers for the souls of martyrs, SIA reports citing AZƏRTAC.
It was emphasized that fasting is one of the greatest acts of worship during this month. Fasting and breaking the fast for those fasting are considered highly rewarding deeds.
Speakers at the iftar table extended their congratulations on the upcoming holy Ramadan holiday and expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event on behalf of the participants.
