Wedding celebration echoes through Zabuk Village in Lachin after 32 Years

In a heartwarming celebration, the long-awaited wedding festivities have begun in Lachin. Today, on March 8, the village of Zabuk in the Lachin region witnessed the joyous sounds of a wedding for the first time in 32 years.

The delightful occasion unfolded in the traditional manner, with a wedding tent erected in the village—a symbol of unity and shared happiness, SIA reports citing AZƏRTAC.

Every family in Zabuk contributed to this celebratory day, bringing together family members, relatives, and villagers. Notable figures, including Məsim Məmmədov, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan for the Lachin region, and other dignitaries, graced the event with their presence.

Stepping into the wedding cave beneath the resonating tunes of "Vağzalı," the National Anthem of Azerbaijan echoed, serving as a poignant moment to silently honor the memory of our heroes who bravely sacrificed their lives for the homeland. Following this tribute, well-wishers extended blessings to the newlyweds, marking the commencement of the jubilant wedding celebrations.

It is worth highlighting that Zabuk village, boasting 211 families and a population of 808 residents, has been successfully revitalized. In line with the directives of the country's leadership, post-liberation efforts have provided optimal conditions for families to resettle in newly reconstructed homes, reestablishing their lives in Zabuk village—once their cherished abode.
