ANAMA detects 1695 landmines in liberated territories of Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has released monthly information regarding humanitarian demining operations carried out in the liberated territories. ANAMA has provided information on the matter, SIA reports.

It was reported that, during the month of October, 928 anti-tank mines, 767 anti-personnel mines, and 8537 unexploded ordnance (UXO) have been discovered and safely neutralized in the liberated territories.

Additionally, 6687.4 hectares of land have been cleared of mines.
