Azerbaijani journalists visited "Tongwei" Group Solar Energy Base in China.
SİA informs that Tongwei Group is a large transnational conglomerate engaged in two main industries, i.e., green agriculture and green energy. At present, it owns more than 300 branches or subsidiaries operating both at home and abroad, with nearly 60,000 employees. Tongwei Group is a National Key Leading Enterprise for Agriculture Industrialization and the first Fortune 500 company in the global PV sector.
In the past 41 years, Tongwei has maintained a steady and rapid development, thereby winning wide recognition from all walks of life. In 2023, Tongwei made it to the Fortune 500 Companies, and has been included in the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises, the Top 500 Global New Energy Enterprises, the Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises, the Top 100 Private Enterprise Manufacturing Enterprises, the Top 100 Chinese Listed Private Enterprises and the Top 50 Competitive Private Enterprises in China for many straight years, and also won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award three times.
The delegation will visit Chengdu Museum, Chengdu complex exhibition hall and Twin Towers in the second half of the day.
At the end of the program, the Azerbaijani media team will attend dinner and visit Kuancai Alley.
