Toivo Klaar: Brussels meeting of Armenian, Azerbaijani leaders not to happen
The meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders in Brussels, scheduled for the end of October, will not take place, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Toivo Klaar, said at an online conference of the APRI Armenia (The Applied Policy Research Institute of Armenia) think tank, Report informs.
In his speech at the “Making Diplomacy Work in the South Caucasus” panel, Klaar noted that, nevertheless, work continues to make this meeting possible at another time.
“Now we are trying to organize a meeting between Aliyev and Pashinyan in Brussels. Despite the slowness of the process, we believe that the result will be the signing of the document,” Klaar said.
