By the relevant order of the Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mubariz Gurbanli, Hasanli Mirabdullah was rotated from the post of imam of Shusha district to the post of imam of Yukhari Govhar Aga mosque in Shusha city.
The imam will start working in Yukhari Govhar Aga mosque in Shusha city in the near future, SIA reports with reference to local media.
Mirabdullah Hasanli was born on March 11, 1976 in Shusha city. He received his primary religious education from his grandfather, the cleric Seyid Sadik. In 1992, he graduated from secondary school No. 2 of Shusha city named after Najaf Bey Vazirov. In the same year, he was admitted to Baku Islamic University. In 1996, he graduated from this University with the specialty of akhund, sharia teacher. In 1997, Shusha taught the subject "Islamic history, national morals and values" at the Educational Technical College. He completed active military service in 2005-2006.
From a young age, he was engaged in the performance of religious rites and mourning ceremonies in Shusha city and during the occupation in Baku city.
In 2016, he was appointed as imam of Shusha region.
