Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Defense – Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov and a group of military personnel have visited the Second Alley of Martyrs on the 4th anniversary of the death of Air Force MiG-29 pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Rashad Atakishiyev, who crashed during training exercises.
The delegation visited the grave of martyred military pilot, laid wreaths and paid tribute to his memory.
At the commemoration ceremony, the speakers highlighted his noble path of war, patriotism, high professionalism, combat determination and commitment to the national and moral values.
The family members of the Martyr expressed their gratitude to the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the leadership of the Defense Ministry for the shown attention and care.
