By the end of this year, approximately 2,000 IDP families, or approximately 10,000 former IDP fellow citizens, are expected to return to their native villages in the Karabakh and East Zangezur economic regions and permanently settle, Fuad Huseynov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Affairs told APA.
According to him, approximately 700 families are expected to return to Lachin city, approximately 400 families to Zabukh and Sus villages in Lachin district, in the first stage, 450 families to Shusha city and 267 families to Fuzuli city, and approximately 100 families to Agali village in Zangilan district in the next phase, with a permanent settlement.
