ANAMA conducts educational training for farmers operating in Lachin and Kalbajar regions

The Azerbaijan Minesweeping Agency (ANAMA) and the International Eurasian Press Foundation (IAMF) are conducting awareness training on the danger of explosive ammunition to farmers who will be operating in Lachin and Kalbajar regions, ANAMA told SIA.

According to the Agency's report, 2374 people were involved in the four-day phased training.

During the training, farmers were given information about signs of suspicious areas, rules of behavior in dangerous areas, and warning signs. Models of different types of mines and ammunition were also shown for visual recognition, and how carelessness could result in serious consequences.

The "Training of Trainers" educational program for specialists of state institutions and private enterprises is also continuously implemented.

In the post-war period, ANAMA's education measures on the danger of explosive ammunition have covered 410,192 citizens across the country.

This mission continues even more intensively within the framework of the "Great Return".
