In the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan, a revival was observed in the protest held on the Lachin-Khankendi road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits. SIA reports that the demands of the protesters at the gathering place remain unchanged.
At present, eco-activists and young volunteers on the section of the Lachin-Khankendi road passing through the Shusha city area, chant their "Azerbaijan is awake, it supports its resources!", "Azerbaijan is united, it owns its resources!", "Stop environmental crime!", "Stop ecoterror!", "Берегите природу!", "Экоциду нет! Мониторингу да!" slogans.
The participants of the protest said that there are no obstacles to movement in the area of the Lachin-Khankendi road. The road is fully open for humanitarian purposes.
The protest is being held on the Khankendi-Lachin road passing through Shusha against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in Karabakh.
The campaign started on December 12 last year and has been going on for 83 days.
