Azerbaijan records 296 twins and 30 triplets in January

In January 2023, 296 twins and 30 triplets were born in Azerbaijan, SİA informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, 9,935 newborns across the country were registered by the district (city) registration departments of the Ministry of Justice in the reporting period, and compared to 2021, this indicator fell from 11.9 to 11.5 per 1,000 people.
