"94,5% of Azerbaijan's water resources were distributed by the Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management Open Joint-Stock Company," said Chairman of Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC, Rafig Aslanov at the briefing on "Causes of water scarcity in the country and current situation".
He noted that 5% was distributed by "Azersu" OJSC and 0,5% in the other way: "The country has 25 billion cubic meters of water resources. 16.5 billion cubic meters of this is underground and 8.5 billion cubic meters is surface water".
