On January 18, representatives of the Organization of War, Labor and Armed Forces Veterans visited the Alley of Martyrs, including the "Eternal Torch" monument, in connection with the 33rd anniversary of January 20 - the National Day of Mourning, and laid flowers on the graves of martyrs, SIA reports.
According to the Republican Veterans Organization, during the visit led by Colonel Jalil Khalilov, the veterans also talked with young schoolchildren and gave them detailed information about the heroism of our martyrs and their bravery.
Then, the veterans visited the Turkish martyrdom and paid their respects to the Turkish martyrs who died for the freedom of our country.
The veterans, who laid carnations in front of the "Turkish Martyrdom" monument, prayed for the souls of all the martyrs and said that "their love will live forever in the hearts of Azerbaijani people".
