19 years have passed since the death of the great historical figure, the founder of Independent Azerbaijan, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, who laid the foundation of the state youth policy.
One of the main directions of activity being contribution to the deeper assimilation of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev's philosophy of statehood and the ideology of Azerbaijaniism by the young generation, the representative offices of the Youth Development and Career Center operating in 55 cities and regions have implemented measures in order to commemorate the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, the Agency told SIA.
According to the center, young people in the regions visited Heydar Aliyev's monument in the regional centers, laid flowers and expressed their deep love and respect as the young people of the victorious country. Excursions to Heydar Aliyev centers located in the regions were organized with the participation of youth, acquaintance with museums reflecting the socio-political activities of the Great Leader and an exhibition of books took place.
Scientific-practical conferences and meetings on the topic of "Azerbaijanism ideology" were held in the delegations, and young people were informed about the Great Leader's life path, activities, and the youth policy of which he was the founder.
The films dedicated to the memorial day of national leader Heydar Aliyev, "Relics - Memorial Day of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev", "Life of a Savior", "Great Leader", "Genius", "Man of the People" were shown to the youth.
The representatives noted that the political line laid by the Great Leader in all fields is successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
