Belgian press publishes Azerbaijani MP's article on French Senate's resolution

On November 22, 2022, the article "The resolution adopted by the French Senate is a blow to the peace process" was published by Mazahir Efendiyev, a deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in the Belgian newspaper and on the information portal that is followed in 27 countries of the European Union.

In the article, information about Azerbaijan's success in creating new realities in the South Caucasus after the Second Karabakh War, which has created a completely new atmosphere both in the region and in world politics, as well as the revelation of the country's decisive position towards peace, tranquility and a prosperous future on all platforms was reflected.

The MP also touched on a number of points regarding Macron's betrayal and disrespect towards Azerbaijan-France relations - despite Azerbaijan's support of participation of France in the signing of the Peace Agreement in the post-war period, which enabled it to fulfill its peacekeeping mission, the head of the state, while taking part in these negotiations, discussed a completely different agenda, and later accused Azerbaijan of occupation by various means.

In the article, Efendiyev specifically emphasized the resolution adopted by the French Senate against Azerbaijan, which contradicts the norms and principles of international law and contains a hypocritical position. The MP, taking the continuous anti-Azerbaijani activities of France into account, also noted that the Statement dated November 16, 2022, adopted by the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is a clear warning to all the forces that are attacking Azerbaijan.
