"Two years ago, the tripartite Declaration was signed and the several years of conflict ended. Now is the time to act towards the normalization of relations," the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during the meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in Sochi on October 31, SIA reports.
Recalling that Azerbaijan recently put forward five main principles for the normalization of relations, the head of state said: "Azerbaijan-Armenia relations should be normalized on the basis of these principles. These are fundamental principles of international law. I think that the normalization of relations can be achieved on this basis."
