Azerbaijani, Turkish, Georgian special forces held exemplary military exercises
The joint military exercises of the special forces of Azerbaijan, Turkiye and Georgia under the name "Caucasian Eagle 2022" continue, SİA reports citing the Ministry of Defense of Georgia.
Major General Giorgi Matiashvili, Chief of the Georgian Defence Forces watched the exemplary exercises held at the Vazirani military base. Noted that the special forces demonstrated their skills by performing various combat tasks such as air support, parachute jumping, attacking armored vehicles, and siege of the building. Military servicemen performed elements of parachute jumping from AN-2 aircraft.
Noted in the information that the purpose of the "Caucasian Eagle 2022" exercises, is to deepen synchronization and coordination capabilities among the special forces of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Georgia, exchange experience, increase mutual operational capability, and develop command and control in a multinational environment.
