"Ahiska" newspaper, operating in Kazakhstan, published the statement of the Azerbaijani community about the mass graves discovered in Edilli village of Khojavend region in English.
According to SIA, the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs said that in the appeal addressed to international organizations on behalf of the editor-in-chief of "Ahiska" newspaper and "Turkish Union" magazine, Rovshan Ismayilov, it was stated that Azerbaijanis living in Almaty were horrified and enraged by the crimes committed in Edilli.
Evaluating the Edilli tragedy as an exposure of Armenia's next war crime, the editor-in-chief called on influential international organizations such as the UN, the European Union and the Council of Europe to take immediate measures to bring to justice those responsible in the usurping country for the crimes committed against our people on ethnic grounds at various times.
