The creation of a joint Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani Development Fund will help attract investment and create new jobs, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said following the first meeting of the Interstate Council between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek.
According to SİA, the head of state stressed that the current visit to Bishkek is of particular importance, recalling that half a year ago, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited Azerbaijan.
"It proves that we want to implement everything we have planned. As a rule, return visits are carried out not earlier than in a year, in our case in six months. I want to express my satisfaction that part of what we outlined during the Baku session has already been implemented. First of all, the creation of a joint Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani Development Fund, which will serve the cause of development, attracting investment, creating jobs and create even more prerequisites for building up cooperation in the trade and economic sphere," the head of state said.
