"Our position is very clear," President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, said while receiving the credentials of Fergus Auld, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan, SİA informs.
"We have highlighted this and publicly put forward several important proposals that can lead to lasting peace, stability, security, and normal neighborly relations. We hope for the support of the UK Government in this direction," the head of state added.
