The United States urges countries to use their influence to prevent the situation between Azerbaijan and Armenia from escalating, Spokesman for the United States Department of State Ned Price said, SİA informs.
"We have called upon all countries in the region to use their influence constructively," he said.
Price added that the US, in turn, is ready to participate in any format of negotiations that will put 'an immediate end to this violence and a de‑escalation of tensions.
