''Personnel and structural reforms undertaken by the Head of State were actually announced after the presidential election last year. President Ilham Aliyev said that, Azerbaijan would take unprecedented steps in the socio-economic direction and present a huge social package.'' Economic expert Parviz Heydarov told SIA.
He emphasized that, large-scale steps have already been proclaimed when the state budget debate start this year: “Rigorous struggle against ''shadow economy'' played main role at the root of this reforms. Consequently, millions of funds of trade facilities, private health care facilities and etc, were uncovered and added to the government budget.”
The expert said ''It is clear that, more fund was added to the state budget than expected. It is related with requirement of stuff reforms and we will proceed to be witness of personnel reforms. ”
