Erdoğan to host NATO leaders at summit

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will host heads of state and government at the NATO summit, which will bring together representatives of the alliance's 32 member states, SİA, informs via TRT Haber.

The summit, which will focus on the situation in Ukraine and the latest developments on NATO's southern flank, will bring together the heads of state and government of the alliance's 32 member countries, around 100 ministers, as well as a large number of senior diplomats and representatives of international organizations.

According to the information, Erdoğan is expected to hold bilateral meetings with several leaders today.

As part of the schedule, the Turkish president will meet with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at 11:00 (12:00 Baku time), followed by a meeting with Finnish President Alexander Stubb at 12:30 (13:30 Baku time).

At 15:00 (16:00 Baku time), Erdoğan will officially welcome US President Donald Trump.

Later, at 19:30 (20:30 Baku time), Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan will host a banquet in honor of the heads of state and government and their spouses.

More than 48,000 police officers have been deployed in Ankara to ensure security during the NATO summit.
