The preservation of Azerbaijan's monumental, archaeological, and documentary heritage is an absolute state priority for Azerbaijan, transcending national boundaries, reads an article in the Uruguayan publication Diario La R, dedicated to the visit of a delegation led by Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli to Paris to participate in events at UNESCO headquarters, SİA informs.
The author of the article notes that the Azerbaijani delegation's meetings in the French capital confirm Baku's role as a historical cultural bridge between East and West.
The article emphasizes that Azerbaijan actively utilizes multilateral diplomacy platforms to strengthen its international influence and promote initiatives aimed at peace, stability, and mutual understanding through art, education, and respect for cultural diversity.
"The visit of the delegation led by Minister Karimli is particularly significant, as it directly addresses the prospects for long-term cooperation in areas of high social significance, such as the protection of cultural heritage in vulnerable regions and the strengthening of global channels of humanitarian cooperation," the publication writes.
