Iran has not yet approved any draft agreement with the United States despite US President Donald Trump's claim that a deal to end the conflict has been reached, according to Iran's Fars News Agency.
Citing a source close to the negotiation process, Fars reported that neither a preliminary memorandum nor a final agreement text with Washington has received official approval from Tehran.
The source said that discussions between the two sides are continuing, but no document has been formally endorsed by the Iranian authorities so far.
The report comes after Trump stated that Washington and Tehran had reached an agreement to end the war and that relevant documents could be signed within the coming days.
Iranian officials have not publicly confirmed Trump's remarks, while reports from Tehran suggest that negotiations remain ongoing and that no final deal has yet been approved.
