Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Islamabad attaches great importance to peace and constructive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Armenia, reads Shehbaz Sharif's congratulatory message to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the Civil Contract Party's victory in the parliamentary elections, SİA informs via Armenian media.
Sharif noted that he looks forward to working with Pashinyan to strengthen Pakistani-Armenian relations.
"I would like to emphasize that Pakistan attaches great importance to peace and constructive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Armenia," the statement reads.
He also expressed hope that the Armenian prime minister's new term will contribute to strengthening peace, stability, and economic development in the South Caucasus.
