The TRIPP (Trump Route) project will create significant opportunities for Azerbaijan and Armenia.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this while speaking before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives, SİA informs, citing the US Department of State.
According to him, the past 16-17 months of the State Department's work have generally been marked by a combination of significant achievements and ongoing complex international challenges.
Rubio said the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan had ended and that it had concluded with a memorandum he signed, creating a new prosperity route, TRIPP, which would provide significant opportunities for both countries.
He also recalled that the US has been involved in resolving a number of conflicts, including tensions between India and Pakistan, where it was possible to prevent a large-scale war between nuclear states. Rubio also noted the US role in settling conflicts between Thailand and Cambodia, and said the war in Gaza ended and all remaining hostages were released.
On May 26, Armenia and the US signed a framework agreement on strategic partnership as part of the TRIPP project.
