The EU-Azerbaijan Political and Security Dialogue is scheduled to take place next year, the Embassy of the European Union (EU) in Azerbaijan told SİA.
"The next EU-Azerbaijan Political and Security Dialogue is expected to take place next year, although the exact date has not yet been determined. It is expected to be held in Brussels," the embassy said.
The seventh meeting of the Security Dialogue between Azerbaijan and the EU was held in Baku on May 20. The meeting was co-chaired by Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, and Olof Skoog, Deputy Secretary-General for Political Affairs at the European External Action Service (EEAS)
The sides agreed to expand the format by renaming it the Azerbaijan–EU Political and Security Dialogue, reflecting a broader scope of bilateral relations and their strategic importance.
