President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has stated that Uzbekistan is ready to continue supporting the development of Azerbaijan's Karabakh region.
According to SİA, Mirziyoyev made the remarks during the Leaders Summit held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.
He noted that large-scale reconstruction and development work is being carried out at an accelerated pace in Karabakh.
"Under your leadership," he said, addressing Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, "large-scale construction work is progressing rapidly across Azerbaijan, especially in Karabakh. Entire residential areas have been restored in a short period of time in the liberated territories."
Mirziyoyev added that new residential complexes, modern facilities, and infrastructure projects are being built in the region.
"Taking this opportunity, I would like to emphasize that Uzbekistan is always ready to contribute to this noble cause," he said.
