Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics said he had held very cordial and substantive discussions with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, focusing on bilateral relations, regional security and energy issues, SİA informs.
In a post on X, Rinkevics said Latvia and Azerbaijan, as strategic partners, would continue to develop close political and economic ties.
He also thanked Aliyev for the warm welcome.
