Burhanettin Duran, Head of the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration, has met with Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, as part of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, SİA informs.
"Within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026), we met with Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, my esteemed brother.
The deep-rooted fraternal ties between Türkiye and Azerbaijan continue to strengthen in every field, underpinned by our shared history and strong spirit of cooperation. In our meeting, we focused on the joint steps that can be taken in the areas of communication, media, and public diplomacy.
We reaffirmed our consensus on combating disinformation, effectively disseminating accurate information, and enhancing coordination in strategic communication. In line with the vision set forth by our President, His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, we will continue to maintain our strong cooperation in close contact with our friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan," Burhanettin Duran wrote on X.
Hikmat Hajiyev, sharing Duran's publication, thanked him for the useful and productive meeting.
