The South Caucasus has entered a more stable and peace-oriented phase, Hikmat Hajiyev, aide to the Azerbaijani president and head of the presidential administration's foreign policy department, said.
Speaking at a panel held as part of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, he said Azerbaijan had resolved its conflict with Armenia.
Hajiyev said Azerbaijan preserved its independence, restored peace and ensured its territorial integrity.
He added that important steps have been taken toward establishing peace and that the South Caucasus is now entering a more stable phase closer to peace.
