Russia expressed gratitude to the authorities of Azerbaijan for their assistance in organizing the delivery of humanitarian aid to Iran, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told a briefing, SİA, informs.
Zakharova recalled that on March 27, a second large batch of medications was handed over at the Astara border crossing. According to her, more than 300 tons of pharmaceutical products were delivered by rail, and additionally, about 150 tons of humanitarian aid collected in Dagestan were delivered by a vehicle convoy.
"We are grateful to the authorities of Azerbaijan for their assistance," she noted.
