On March 30, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation, SİA reports citing MFA press service.
During the call, the sides expressed deep concern over the increasingly tense regional situation.
They emphasized the importance of intensifying diplomatic efforts to bring a swift end to military clashes in the region.
The ministers also exchanged views on bilateral issues of mutual interest.
