US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says attacks on NATO ally Turkiye’s sovereignty are “unacceptable” after the alliance shot down an Iranian missile, which a Turkish official said veered off course, SİA reports.
In a call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Rubio said any strikes on Turkiye’s “sovereign territory were unacceptable” and he pledged the full support from the United States, State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said.
