Azerbaijani Deputy Minister leads delegation at ADIPEC 2025 Conference in UAE
Orkhan Zeynalov, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Energy, took part in the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025), which was hosted in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, SİA reports.
During the event, Zeynalov joined the Ministerial Panel on The Future of Energy: Positivity, Pragmatism, and Policies and the Ministerial Roundtable titled Enhancing Energy Security and Resilience through Diversification.
In his remarks, the Deputy Minister discussed the critical role of conventional energy resources in ensuring a fair and balanced energy transition. He also presented Azerbaijan’s ongoing initiatives in green energy development, highlighting the growing importance of energy storage systems and the modernization of power transmission networks to enable a faster expansion of renewable energy.
Zeynalov underlined that effective regional cooperation is essential for a successful energy transition, stating:
“Azerbaijan is currently advancing projects on green energy corridors and interconnectors that link the South Caucasus, Central Asia, Türkiye, and Europe. These initiatives aim not only to export renewable electricity but also to synchronize power systems and reinforce regional energy stability.”
Held under the patronage of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, ADIPEC 2025 includes ten conferences and 380 sessions dedicated to shaping the global energy landscape, driving innovation, encouraging clean energy investments, and promoting a secure and sustainable energy future.
