Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the UN Tofig Musayev has appealed to the Special Political and Decolonization Committee (Fourth Committee) of the UN General Assembly, SİA reports citing information provided on the mission's X account.
"More attention and efforts are needed to ensure the full application of international law, the promotion of the principle of self-determination as reflected in the UN Charter, and the effective implementation of relevant General Assembly resolutions, so that all forms of colonialism can be completely eliminated," the appeal states.
