Azerbaijan’s Minister of Finance, Sahil Babayev, held a meeting with Algeria’s ambassador to Baku, Zakia Ighil, to review the state of bilateral ties and potential areas for expanded cooperation, SİA reports.
The discussion highlighted the positive progress in political, economic, and energy relations, with both sides noting the importance of building on these achievements. Minister Babayev emphasized the value of strengthening collaboration in the energy sphere, encouraging reciprocal investment projects, and broadening trade links.
Ambassador Ighil expressed appreciation for the hospitality and affirmed her commitment to further advancing cooperation between the two nations throughout her mission in Azerbaijan. Minister Babayev, in turn, wished her success in her diplomatic duties.
