Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met on September 30 with Wyatt Toelke, Senior Advisor at the US Department of State’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, and Amy Carlon, Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy in Baku, SİA reports.
The meeting addressed the state of Azerbaijan–US ties, the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on forming a Strategic Working Group to advance a Strategic Partnership Charter, the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia within the framework of the Washington agreements, as well as regional and global security challenges.
Participants highlighted the significance of regular exchanges and high-level visits in strengthening cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed a range of additional issues of mutual concern.
