During the Second Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum, the visiting Uzbek delegation, alongside Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, and Ismat Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council, toured Victory Park and the Victory Monument in Baku, dedicated to the martyrs of the Patriotic War, SİA reports.
The delegation laid wreaths at the monument and received detailed information on the park’s purpose, which commemorates the Azerbaijani people’s courage during the Patriotic War, celebrates the historic triumph, and honors the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs.
As part of the complex’s ongoing development, a Victory Museum is being constructed under a decree issued by President Ilham Aliyev, designed to preserve the legacy of the historic campaign that led to the liberation of Azerbaijani territories and to memorialize the soldiers, officers, and all who gave their lives in the Patriotic War.
