The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan held talks with a visiting delegation from Montenegro led by Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, Family Care and Demography, Mersida Aljićević, SİA reports.
The discussions focused on the draft agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Montenegro concerning pension provision.
During the meeting, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister Rashad Mustafayev emphasized that relations between the two countries continue to grow in an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation, noting that the social sphere is also part of their partnership.
Mustafayev also informed the delegation about pension reforms implemented in Azerbaijan in recent years, highlighting progress in digital pension assignment.
The sides exchanged views on Montenegro’s pension system and reviewed prospects for expanding collaboration in the field.
