On International Charity Day, the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who sent aid for Ukrainian children, SİA reports.
Ambassador Yuriy Gusev shared on Facebook that efforts in August allowed for the collection, sorting, and preparation of warm clothing, shoes, and school supplies for shipment to Ukraine.
“These items will be delivered to the caregivers at the Sumy Children’s Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Center, as well as to children from families forced to leave their homes due to Russian aggression in Bakhmut, Pokrovsk, Myrhorod, Kherson, and Sumy regions,” Qusev said.
He added that all collected items will soon be sent to Ukraine, emphasizing, “Together we perform charitable deeds and help those most in need.”
